Digital Dentistry
Our investment in your smile with technology:
Our practice is committed to evolve with the innovation of technology and equipment, redefining what’s possible. Continuously investing in the latest, cutting-edge technology promotes accuracy and precision, overall enhancing patients experience and exceeding expectations. Our commitment to dental excellence, is reflected in our investment of the most modern technologies, including digital scanning and printing, airflow treatment, CBCT scanners, and MODJAW technology. The technologies enable us to deliver reliable outcomes with proven results, with our proficient team.
Digital scanning:
Intra oral scanning is an advanced digital tool in modern dentistry, enhancing treatment predictably and accuracy. The beauty of intra oral scanners, is no need for messy alginate impressions. Intra oral scanning is a quick and safe procedure to record the teeth with accuracy, aiding treatment planning and enhancing patients overall experience with the visualisation of proposed treatment plans.
Key aspects to digital scanning:
Implant planning and placement
Denture design
Bite analysis and occlusion
Documentation and recording of the mouth with accuracy and precision
Dentals models
Surgical guides
Custom trays and night guards
Temporary restorations
Benefits to digital scanning:
Patients comfort is maximised, with the elimination of messy impressions
Accuracy and precision
Efficient workflow, scans being complete within minutes and instantly sent to the digital printer in house or the dental laboratory
Improved communication, enables the clinicians to plan effectively and enables patients to visually see their treatment plan and outcome

Digital printing:
In just one visit, we can capture data from our intra oral scanner, design smiles with our software technologies and print the lab work with our in-house digital printer, creating a streamlined workflow.
Key aspects to digital printing:
Dentals models
Surgical guides
Crowns, bridges and veneers
Dentures
Custom trays and night guards
Temporary restorations
Benefits of digital printing:
Efficient & a quick turn around
Precision and high accuracy
Customised to each individual case
A streamlined digital workflow, from the initial scan, design and print.
CBCT Scanners:
CBCT scanners is an abbreviation for cone beam computed tomography and this is a form of advanced imaging, to produce 3D images of patient’s teeth, jawbone, nerves, sinuses, airway passages and facial bones. This technology enables accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning with precision.
Common uses of CBCT Scanners in dentistry:
Planning and preparation for dental implants, evaluating the bone structure and density
Locating impacted teeth or root canals
Orthodontic treatment planning
Detecting tumour or abnormalities
Airflow Treatment:
Airflow is a professional dental cleaning system that uses a combination of warm water, air and fine powder particles to gently remove plaque, staining and biofilm from the teeth and gums.
Airflow is safe and efficient in accessing all areas, to remove biofilm, staining, plaque, and reach below the gum line, including deep pocketing. It is also proven to be efficient with implants, crowns, restorations, and orthodontic appliances. Refer to our dental hygiene & airflow page for more information.

MODJAW Technology:
Our Practice is one of fifteen practices in the UK to offer MODJAW technology, which is a cutting edge 4D view of the jaw motion, used to record real-time, dynamic movements of a patient’s jaw. This technology captures the opening, closing, and chewing movements as well as the lateral, protrusion and resting position of the jaw. MODJAW uses sensory and computer algorithms to analyse and track the jaw movement during activities and is an excellent way of communicating with patients the problems and involve them in the planning process.
This technology helps diagnose and treat conditions such as temporomandibular joint disorder and sleep apnea, as well as optimising the planning of treatments such as rehabilitative and restorative dental work. All the data received from this technology process, enables precise and accurate designing and planning, as well as communicating effectively with the laboratory to produce dental restorations.
Benefits of MODJAW:
Real time 4D motion tracking
Better diagnose and functional analysis
Optimises the treatment planning
Excellent patient communication and education
Integrates effortlessly with a streamline digital workflow
